  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix together sugar and flour in a large bowl.
  2. 2
    Mix and bring to a boil margarine, cocoa and water.
  3. 3
    Pour over flour mixture. Mix well and add buttermilk, eggs, soda, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix and pour onto a cookie sheet with sides.

    Bake 20 minutes. Start icing 10 minutes before cake is done.

    Bake at 350°.
