  • 2 c. cake flour
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Sift together sugar and flour. Mix butter, cocoa and water in saucepan. Bring to boil. Pour over flour and sugar, then add buttermilk and baking powder (mixed), eggs and vanilla. Mix well and bake in 11 x 16-inch pan at 350° for 30 to 45 minutes.
