- 2 c. sugar
- 2 c. flour (plain)
- 1 stick oleo
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift sugar and flour and mix into a large bowl.

2Heat in saucepan, oleo, Crisco, cocoa and water.

3Bring to rapid boil. Pour hot over sugar and flour.

4Mix well.

5Add remaining ingredients.

6Bake in 11 x 16-inch jelly roll pan, greased and floured.

7Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.

8Ice while hot.
