  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix in a bowl the first 4 ingredients.

    Bring to boil the oleo, cocoa and water; pour over the flour mixture.

    Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.

    Bake in a 400° oven for 20 minutes.
