- 1 stick margarine or butter
- 3 c. granulated sugar
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- pinch of salt
- 13 oz. can evaporated milk
Directions

1In a double boiler over boiling water, place margarine, sugar, salt and cocoa.

2Cook until margarine is melted.

3Add 1/4 cup of the milk.

4Continue cooking until sugar is almost melted. Stirring constantly, add remainder of milk.

5Cook until smooth and silky.

6Use hot as for hot fudge sundaes or chill in refrigerator for later use.

7Makes about 2 cups of sauce.
