- 1/4 c. margarine, softened
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. Hershey's cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
- 3/4 c. walnuts, chopped
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and egg in large bowl until light and fluffy.

2Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt.

3Add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.

4Beat on low speed just until blended; stir in nuts.

5Pour into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 55 to 60 minutes.
