Chocolate Turtle Cake

  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. Kraft caramels
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 3/4 stick oleo
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Prepare cake mix and bake half of the batter for 15 minutes. Melt together and pour over baked cake the caramels, evaporated milk and oleo.

    Over that, sprinkle chocolate chips and chopped pecans.

    Spread remainder of the cake batter on top and bake 20 minutes at 350° until done.
