Ingredients
- 2 (1) cup chocolate chips
- 1 (1/2) cup butter
- 2 (1) egg
- 1 1/2 (3/4) cup sugar
- 2/3 (1/3) cup flour
- 1/2 (1/4) cup cocoa
- 2 (1) tsp baking powder
- 3 (1 1/2) tsp vanilla
- 1/2 (1/4) tsp salt
- 4 (2) cups chopped nuts (optional - I like better without, but some prefer them in)
- 2 (1) cup chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt chocolate chips and butter.

2Beat eggs and sugar till light and lemon color (nice and fluffy).

3Reduce to low and add chocolate/butter mixture, flour, cocoa, bkg powder, vanilla, and salt.

4Beat till blended. Increase speed to medium, beat 2 minutes. Stir in nuts and remaining chips.

5Drop by heaping teaspoon onto greased cookie sheets.

6Spread batter slightly.

7Bake for 10-15 minutes at 325° till tops are shiny and cracked.

8Cool ON sheets for 10 minutes. Carefully remove to wire rack for complete cooling.

9The key here is to keep beating them. I have had friends who can't seem to get them other than runny, but I don't think they beat them enough or long enough.
