- 1/2 gal. vodka
- 4 c. sugar
- fresh choke cherries (these are ripe in late summer)
Directions

1Fill 1 gallon jug with vodka, sugar and fresh, washed choke cherries.

2Place jug in a cool, dark place and shake jug once a week.

3Liqueur is ready by Thanksgiving.

4Remove choke cherries from liquid.
