- 4 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 lb. diced pork and veal
- 2 c. sliced chopped onion
- 2 c. diced celery
- 1 large can mushrooms
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 large can bean sprouts, drain and save
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 lb. rice (raw or Minute)
Directions

1Brown meat in oleo, then add onion, celery and mushrooms; brown until tender.

2Add juice from bean sprouts plus enough water to make 1 1/2 cups, salt and molasses.

3Cook on low heat until meat is tender, about 1 1/2 hours.

4Dissolve cornstarch in 1/2 cup water. Add soy sauce.

5Stir into meat.

6Cook for 7 minutes or until thick. Serve over rice.
