- 1/2 lb. cooked, boneless pork
- 1 3/4 c. cooked chicken, cut up
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
- peanut oil
- 1/2 lb. canned, sliced bamboo shoots, drained
- 1 c. diagonally sliced celery
- 8 green onions, cut
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- 3 Tbsp. sherry
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Directions

1Cut pork and chicken into strips and slice mushrooms lengthwise and saute one after the other in hot oil in a heavy skillet.

2Turn frequently.

3Return pork, bamboo shoots, celery and onion to skillet.

4Set aside mushrooms and chicken.

5Add broth and garlic. Season with salt, pepper and sugar.

6Cover and bring to a boil. Combine soy sauce, ginger and sherry.

7Add cornstarch mixed with water.

8Stir into hot mixture and cook until thickened.

9Add chicken and mushrooms.

10Cook until thoroughly heated.

11Serve with rice.
