Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak
  • 1 lb. pork ham
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 2 cans bean sprouts
  • 1 bottle soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses (Chinese cooking oil)

Directions

    Cut steak and ham in bite size pieces.

    Salt and pepper; dip in flour and brown in cooking oil.

    Add chopped celery, chopped onion, soy sauce and juice drained from bean sprouts.

    Cook slowly and stir from time to time for about 1 hour.

    Add bean sprouts; cook about 20 minutes.

    Mix molasses with flour, using enough flour to make thick consistency.

    Serve on rice.
