- 1 lb. chorizo or Italian sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 3 lb. top round or stew meat, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 2 to 4 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
- 1 (12 oz.) can beer
- 2 (4 oz.) cans green chili peppers, chopped (or jalapenos for hot!)
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pinto or kidney beans
- shredded Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Brown sausage and beef in a large stew pot. Drain and add onions and garlic.

2Return and add other ingredients.

3Bring to boil.

4Cook 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
