Choucroute Salad

  • 1 lb. choucroute (sauerkraut)
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. cumin seeds
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions

    Put the choucroute in a large bowl of cold water and work it with your fingers.

    Drain off the water and wash it once more.
  3. 3
    Now let the choucroute drip in a colander, and when you are confident it can lose no more water, put it into a salad bowl and dress it with the oil, cumin seeds, salt and a little pepper.
