  • 1 qt. tomatoes
  • 1 qt. cabbage
  • 1 qt. apples
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 pt. onions
  • 1 qt. sweet pickles
  • 1 qt. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 red peppers
  • 1 Tbsp. ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. turmeric
  • 2 Tbsp. ground mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. ground cloves
  • 2 Tbsp. salt

    Grind tomatoes first and drain in colander.

    Mix all ingredients together and simmer gently 40 minutes.
