- 2 large cabbage
- 12 large ripe tomatoes
- 12 large red bell peppers
- 1 qt. vinegar
- 12 large green tomatoes
- 12 green bell peppers
- 6 onions
- 3 Tbsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
Directions

1Cut up all ingredients very fine.

2Place in container to cook. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons salt and sugar.

3Then add 1 teaspoon pickling spice.

4Cook for 1/2 hour.

5Put mixture on high heat. The secret is not to cook the ingredients too much.

6Put in jars and seal while hot.
