- 4 c. onions
- 1 medium cabbage
- 10 green tomatoes
- 12 pods green pepper
- 6 pods red sweet pepper
- 6 pods hot pepper
- 1/2 c. salt
- 6 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 4 c. cider vinegar
- 2 c. water
Directions

1Grind or chop vegetables; sprinkle with salt.

2Let stand overnight, then rinse and drain.

3Combine remaining ingredients; pour over vegetables and heat to boiling.

4Simmer for 3 minutes. Pack in jars and seal.

5Makes 9 pints.
