Ingredients

  • 2 large heads cabbage
  • 2 doz. green tomatoes
  • 3 Tbsp. salt
  • 1/2 doz. hot peppers (optional)
  • 1 doz. green sweet peppers
  • 3 onions
  • 4 c. sugar

Directions

    Grind cabbage, peppers, tomatoes and onions.

    Cover with boiling water and let stand for 10 minutes.

    Squeeze out liquid and add salt and sugar.
  4. 4
    Cover with vinegar and boil 5 minutes. Put in jars and seal.
