- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 clove garlic, mashed
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 lb. Chinese vegetables
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. water (use water from vegetables)
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
- rice or chow mein noodles
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 lb. mushrooms
- 2 c. celery, sliced
Directions

1Heat in skillet the oil, soy sauce and garlic.

2Saute in oil mixture the mushrooms, onion and celery.

3Add Chinese vegetables (bean sprouts, snow pea pods, bamboo shoots, ect.).

4Thicken with cornstarch, water and molasses.

5Serve on rice or chow mein noodles.

6Makes 8 (1 cup) servings.
