Ingredients

  • 2 large chicken breasts
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or peanut oil
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. celery
  • 1 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. chicken broth or 1 can Swanson
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • peas and carrots (optional)
  • 1 (16 oz.) can bean sprouts
  • 50 oz. can water chestnuts

Directions

    Saute onion, celery and carrots in butter.

    Simmer.

    Add other ingredients.

    Cut chicken into approximately 1-inch cubes and brown in butter or peanut oil.

    After all is cooked, may want to thicken with cornstarch.
