- 4 slices buttered bread
- 3/4 c. grated cheese
- 3/4 c. sausage (1 lb. roll)
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs
Directions

1Trim crust and cut into cubes, then put 1/2 of the cubes into the bottom of a greased casserole pan.

2Add sausage, browned and drained.

3Sprinkle top with 1/2 of the cheese.

4Add the remainder of bread cubes and rest of cheese.

5Whip eggs and rest of ingredients.

6Pour over the layered bread.

7Cover and store in refrigerator overnight.

8The next morning, bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.

9Serve in casserole dish with fruit and hot biscuits.
