Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 2 c. flour (extra may be needed, 1/4 to 1/2 c.)

Directions

    Mix by hand together your margarine, powdered sugar and white sugar until creamed.

    Add oil; mix together.

    Add other ingredients.

    Chill dough.

    Roll out and cut out.

    (I pat out by hand.

    Cookies are softer and thicker.)

    Bake at 350° until golden brown.

    Frost.
