  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. corn syrup
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. candied fruit, chopped
  • 1/3 c. nuts, chopped

Directions

    Bring sugar, syrup, milk and salt to boiling point, stirring constantly.

    Cook to soft ball stage.

    Remove from heat.

    Cool; beat until stiff.

    Add vanilla, butter, fruit and nuts.

    Pour into buttered dish.
