- 1 c. soft butter
- 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/4 c. sifted flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. chopped walnuts
Directions

1Mix thoroughly butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla.

2Stir in flour and salt, then chopped walnuts.

3Chill dough 1 hour. Roll into 1-inch balls.

4Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400° for 10 to 12 minutes, until set, but not brown.

5While still warm, roll in confectioners sugar.

6Cool and roll again in confectioners sugar.

7Makes 4 dozen.
