- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter, melted
- vegetable shortening
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2Place a cast-iron popover pan or 8 custard cups on a baking sheet and set in oven to preheat.

3In medium bowl, beat the eggs until frothy.

4Beat in the milk and butter.

5Fold in the flour, 2 tablespoons at a time.

6Carefully remove the hot popover pan from the oven and grease with vegetable shortening.
