- 3 lb. chuck roast (2-inches thick)
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1 c. cream of mushroom soup
- steak sauce to taste (Worcestershire is good)
Directions

1Place roast in center of heavy foil in roasting pan.

2Spread roast with steak sauce.

3Sprinkle onion soup over the top.

4Spread mushroom soup over all.

5Seal the foil at sides and top. Completely enclose the meat but leave an air space above meat. Bake at 350° for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

6Makes its own gravy.
