  • 2 1/2 qt. water
  • 1 small can beef (College Inn)
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • salt
  • 2 lb. hamburger
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. beef broth mix
  • 1 qt. tomato juice
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 lb. frozen vegetables

Directions

    Mix together water, beef broth, beef, tomato juice, sugar and salt.

    Bring to a boiling point.

    Brown hamburger in onion and butter.

    Add this then to boiling juice, then add frozen vegetables.

    I double the juice part.

    Makes 10 quarts.
