  • 2 Tablespoons Butter Or Oil
  • 1 whole Yellow Onion, Chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 3 cups Long Grain Rice
  • 6-2/3 cups Boiling Water
  • 8 teaspoons Chicken Bouillon
  • 1 bunch Cilantro, Chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt

Directions

    In a large skillet (one with a lid) melt butter over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and saute for a few minutes. Reduce heat and add rice and garlic. Continue cooking until rice is golden brown, but be careful not to burn the rice.

    Combine remaining ingredients and then add to rice/onion mixture. Stir well. Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer over low until rice is tender.
