Ingredients

  • 1 gal. apples, cored and sliced
  • 6 c. sugar
  • 1/2 lb. red hots (Kraft or Brach's brand)
  • 2 Tbsp. white vinegar

Directions

    Cook cored and sliced apples until very tender.

    Put through ricer, then add remaining ingredients. Cook for 30 minutes.

    Ladle into sterile jars and seal.
