- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 egg white
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Directions

1Cream butter and sugar thoroughly.

2Add egg yolk, mix.

3Add flour sifted with cinnamon.

4Pat into ungreased 9 x 13 pan.

5Pour unbeaten egg white over surface - drain excess.

6Sprinkle with 1 cup chopped pecans, pressing lightly with hand.

7Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.

8Cut into bars while hot.

9May be made ahead of time - freezes well.
