- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 cup vegetable oil
- 34 cup buttermilk
- 12 cup butter, room temperature
- 34 cup granulated sugar
- 1 -2 teaspoon cinnamon (depending on your taste)
Directions

1Preheat your oven to 400F

2Combine first four ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix well.

3Stir in vegetable oil, then buttermilk until just blended.

4Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, then roll out into a 15 x 8 inch rectangle.

5Spread butter over the dough.

6Combine the sugar and cinnamon, and sprinkle evenly over the dough/butter.

7Roll the rectangle, starting from the long side.

8Roll all the way and pinch the seam so it will hold together.

9Cut into 1 and 1/2 inch slices.

10Arrange the biscuits in a greased 9 inch round cake pan.

11Bake until lightly browned, 15 to 20 minutes.
