Cinnamon Buns

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. warm water
  • 1 qt. scalded milk
  • 2 c. mashed potatoes without milk
  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 6 c. flour
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 11 to 12 c. flour

Directions

    Mix yeast, milk, potatoes, margarine and sugar.

    Add flour. Mix well and let stand 20 minutes.

    Add eggs, salt and 11 to 12 cups flour. Knead really well.

    Let rise until double.

    Punch down and roll out for buns.

    Spread on butter, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts.

    Makes approximately 13 pans.
