  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 5 eggs
  • 10 oz. pineapple, crushed or finely diced
  • 10 oz. maraschino cherries, quartered
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix together first 5 ingredients.

    Add pineapple and cherries. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Put half of the batter in tube pan.

    Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon.

    Repeat with the rest of the batter; stir very well.

    Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour in 350° oven.
