  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 stick of oleo
  • 1/2 c. crisco
  • 4 Tbsp. coco
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 slightly beaten eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix sugar and flour in a large bowl. Boil oleo, crisco, coco, and water. Pour over sugar and flour. Add eggs, buttermilk, cinnamon, soda, and vanilla. Mix with a spoon. Bake in a 9 x 13 inch pan at 400° for 25 minutes. Do not grease the pan. Ice with your favorite chocolate icing.
