- 1 cup sugar
- 1 12 cups half-and-half cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Directions

1In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together sugar and half and half.

2When mixture begins to simmer remove from heat and slowly whisk into eggs.

3(Pour hot cream mixture slowly, but whisk quickly so that you don't end up with scrambled eggs!

5Pour mixture back into saucepan and stir in heavy cream.

6Continue cooking over medium low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is thick enough to coat the back of a spoon.

7Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla and cinnamon.

8Let cool completely in refrigerator.

9When cooled pour mixture into ice cream maker and freeze according to your ice cream makers instructions.
