  • 5 lb. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 large pkg. yeast, mixed in 1 c. warm water
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 can milk
  • 3 c. warm water
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix flour, 1 cup sugar and salt.

    Mix milk and 3 cups warm water together; add to flour.

    Mix eggs and Crisco, then add yeast mixture.

    Let stand until doubled, then punch down.

    Let it rise again.

    Make 4 even balls to roll.

    Combine 3 cups sugar and cinnamon.

    Roll balls in butter, then sugar-cinnamon mixture. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
