Cinnamon Roll-Ups

  • 1 loaf white bread (with all crusts cut off)
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or margarine
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix the egg yolk, 1/4 cup sugar and cream cheese until well blended.

    Roll each slice of bread completely flat with a rolling pin.

    Spread mixture lightly onto each slice.

    Roll up like a jelly roll and set aside.

    Combine 1/4 cup of sugar and cinnamon. Roll the bread slices into the melted butter and then into the sugar-cinnamon mixture.

    Spray a baking sheet with a nonstick spray and bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
