Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 tsp. salt or less
- 1 pkg. yeast*
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 4 1/2 to 5 c. flour
Directions

1*Have ready-yeast which has been dissolved in 1 cup warm water. Heat shortening, sugar, salt and water to melt shortening.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Add eggs and yeast mixture.

4Stir in flour and knead well.

5Let raise, mix down once.

6Roll to scant 1/2-inch thick. Spread with melted butter and cinnamon sugar mixture to taste. Roll up and cut 1/2-inch thick.

7Let raise.

8Bake at 425° for 20 to 30 minutes.
