- 160 grams Bread flour
- 20 grams Butter
- 133 ml Milk
- 3 grams Dry yeast
- 20 grams Sugar
- 2 grams Salt
- 1 Cinnamon
- 1 Sugar
- 1 egg Egg yolk
Directions

1In a sauce pan, add the milk and heat to about 105F (40C).

2Next melt the butter.

3Sift in the flour, and then add the dry yeast, sugar, and salt.

4Next add in everything from Step 1, and use a spatula to mix.

5For the dough to come together, knead with your hands.

6(If you knead for about 10 minutes, the dough will come together.)

7Cover it with plastic wrap for about 40 minutes and let the dough rise.

8Test it by poking it with your finger, if the hole doesn't close up, then it is ready.

9Transfer the dough to a baking sheet covered with flour.

10With a rolling pin, roll it out into a 30 x 40 cm rectangle.

11Take a brush and coat the dough with egg yolk.

12Then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon.

13Roll it evenly once more and cut it into 3 cm wide strips.

14Next spread out and arrange on parchment paper.

15Next cover with plastic wrap and let rise.

16until the dough has doubled in size.

17Bake at 350F (180C) for 20 minutes.

18Place on a cooling rack.
