- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 carrots
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 c. celery
- 1 Tbsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 pt. chopped clams
- 1 tsp. pepper
- flour (to thicken)
- 1 can milk
Directions

1Finely chop bacon, then fry.

2Remove bacon from drippings and set aside.

3Chop onion and garlic; fry until tender in bacon fat. In a large saucepan, heat clam juice with enough water to make 3 quarts of liquid, diced potatoes, diced celery, sliced carrots, onion, garlic, seasonings and clams.

4Add flour to thicken.
