- 3 slices bacon, diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 10 potatoes, pared and cubed
- 2 c. water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 sticks celery, diced
- 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams or use fresh clams
Directions

1In small skillet, saute bacon and onion until golden; drain and put into crock-pot with clams.

2Add all remaining ingredients, except evaporated milk.

3Cover; cook on low 6 to 9 hours, or until potatoes are tender.

4Add evaporated milk during last hour.
