  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 3 large eggplants
  • 3 potatoes
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
