Classic Piña Colada

  • None None Sugar Syrup
  • 1 1/8 cups sugar
  • None None Pina Colada
  • 1 oz white rum
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 3 oz pineapple juice
  • .75 oz sugar syrup
  • 1.5 oz coconut cream
  • None Handful ice cubes
  • None Dash Angostura bitters

    To make sugar syrup, stir sugar and 1 cup water in small saucepan over low heat until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered and without stirring, for 5 mins. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 month.

    To make pina coladas, blend all ingredients until smooth and pour into 2 tulip-shaped glasses.
