- 1 cup butter
- 12 teaspoon almond extract
- 23 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 cups flour
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Cream butter.

3Mix in sugar, almond extract and flour.

4Press in pan.

5(I like to use a stone pie plate).

6Take a fork and poke lots and lots of holes in the shortbread all over.

7This step is essential to the shortbread.

8Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

9When cooled turn out onto wax paper and cut.

10I cut it like pie slices.

11Enjoy with a cup of Earl Grey hot tea or your favorite.
