  • 24 Cannoli shells
  • 1 tub (475 g) Tre Stelle Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125) Icing sugar
  • 1/4 cup (50) mini chocolate chips
  • 1/4 tsp. (1) cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. (2) vanilla
  • 1/4 cup (50) whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 tbsp. (15) chopped almonds
  • pistachios (optional)

Directions

    In a medium bowl, combine ricotta, sugar, chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla.

    Mix well.

    Fold in whipped cream.

    Place filling into a pastry bag and pipe filling into cannoli shells.

    Sprinkle nuts on ends.

    Dust filled shells lightly with powdered sugar.

    Alternative Filling: Add 3 tbsp of cocoa and 1 tsp grated fresh orange peel.

    Dip shell edges into melted chocolate before filling and garnish ends with chocolate sprinkles.
