Classic Spinach Dip

  • 500 g frozen spinach (1 package, i'm guessing on the amount. a block about 5-inchx4-inchx1-inch)
  • 250 g light cream cheese (1 package)
  • 1 cup light sour cream
  • 1 14 ounces vegetable soup mix (1 envelope, i use knorr but no-name will work too)
  • 1 tablespoon onion, minced
  • 14 teaspoon black pepper
  • 14 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons milk

    thaw spinach and drain thoroughly.

    mix all ingredients.

    refrigerate for at least an hour or two to let soup mix rehydrate

    serve with crusty bread.
