- 1 lb. ground sirloin
- 1 green pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 2 garlic cloves
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- chili powder to taste
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 cans chili beans
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- instant potatoes (optional)
Directions

1Saute onion, garlic, green pepper, celery, salt and pepper in butter.

2When cooked, remove from pan into bowl.

3Brown meat. Drain fat.

4Add bowl of sauteed items to browned meat.

5Add tomatoes, chili beans and spices.

6Simmer on low for 1 hour. Serve over mashed potatoes (optional).
