  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 lb. dates
  • 1 c. black walnuts
  • 1 lump butter the size of walnut
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil sugar and milk until it forms a soft ball in water.

    Add dates and boil 3 minutes.

    Take off stove and add remaining ingredients.

    Beat until almost hard.
  5. 5
    Pour into a wet cloth. Hang on clothes line to get cold and hard.

    Cut into slices.
