  • 2 egg whites (room temperature)
  • 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 c. pecan pieces

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Gradually add sugar and beat until dissolved. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon onto foil-lined cookie sheets and put into oven. Turn off oven and leave overnight to dry out. Remove from cookie sheets next day.
