  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 c. pecan halves

Directions

    Beat egg whites until stiff.

    Add other ingredients.

    Dip pecans in this, one at a time.

    Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake 30 minutes at 225°, then turn oven off and let stay for 30 minutes more.

    It takes a good while to dip the pecans, so don't turn your oven on until you get them on the sheet.
